Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has praised the Nigeria Police Force’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Unit for their prompt action in discovering and safely detonating an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Lagos State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday along Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja.
In a statement issued by Police PRO Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Egbetokun urged the public to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
“If you come across an unfamiliar or suspicious object, do not touch or move it. Instead, maintain a safe distance and immediately inform the police,” the statement advised.
