The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, has received a promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General, as bestowed by Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun.
This announcement was made through a video shared by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Thursday, October 26, via his official social media account.
Hundeyin’s caption for the video stated, “Today, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, along with his wife, Dr. Folayemi Owohunwa, decorated AIG Idowu Owohunwa with his new rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police.
