Lagos mortuaries reject corpses of End SARS victims

Morgue in Lagos are said to be rejecting corpses of the Lagos massacre.

IDOMA VOICE reports that over 500 persons are feared dead in a clash between security men and youths in the state on Wednesday.

Videos showed that security men, mostly soldiers and police were shooting unarmed Nigerians in the state, leading to death of several persons.

However, when families of the deceased took their bodies to the mortuaries, some hospitals, especially government-owned hospitals are turning them back.

A source told this reporter that in Igando, health workers were not attending to victims in the general hospital, just as corpses were outrightly rejected.

Also, in Isolo General Hospital, corpses were rejected on ‘order from above.’

Some families of the victims have either buried their loved ones or kept them in their houses pending the next action from government.
