Lagos Police acts on officer caught shooting in Ladipo Market

The Lagos State Police Command has identified the individual featured in a viral video discharging an AK47 rifle at Ladipo Market as Inspector Istifanus Kwanchi, currently serving in a Lagos squadron of the Mobile Police (MOPOL).

Commissioner of Police for the Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has promptly ordered the commencement of disciplinary proceedings against this officer due to his unprofessional, unethical, and hazardous conduct.

The public is hereby assured that the Command maintains a strict stance against any misconduct exhibited by its personnel. Any individuals found responsible for such actions will be subject to the appropriate disciplinary measures as per established regulations.
