The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has given an update on the Thursday’s tanker explosion that occurred on Otedlola Bridge along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
DAILY POST reports that no fewer than 9 people have been killed in the fuel tanker mishap.
The corps in a statement on its official Twitter handle confirmed that 54 vehicles were burnt to ashes.
They called on motorists to take alternative routes.
“Motorists plying the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway are advised to take alternative routes due to the explosion of a tanker laden with PMS at the Otedola Bridge INW Berger.
“At east 54 vehicles are reported to have been caught up in flames along with the tanker.”
