The Lagos State Police Command has reported that four individuals lost their lives in a fire outbreak at a lounge and bar on Baale Road in the Olodi Apapa area.

In a statement released on Monday, police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin stated that the fire ignited around 7:45 a.m. on Sunday.

Hundeyin mentioned that the Tolu Police Division received a distress call following the incident.

He noted that the victims, whose identities are yet to be confirmed, were burned beyond recognition in the blaze.

“According to reports, police and fire service teams were quickly dispatched to the scene, and they successfully extinguished the fire through their combined efforts,” the statement indicated.
