Benue Assembly Suspends Teachers’ Recruitment Exercise
The Benue State House of Assembly has ordered the immediate suspension of the primary school teachers’ recruitment exercise being conducted by the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (BSUBEB).
The Assembly also summoned the Executive Chairman of SUBEB, Dr. Grace Adagba, to appear before its leadership on Tuesday to address concerns over the recruitment of individuals with non-professional degrees in education who scored as low as 25% in the aptitude test.
BSUTH to Partner with Pharmaceutical Companies for Enhanced Service Delivery
The Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), Makurdi, is set to collaborate with pharmaceutical companies across the country to ensure a steady supply of drugs, consumables, and reagents.
This was announced on Thursday by the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Stephen Hwande, during a one-day stakeholders’ meeting on effective drug and consumables supply held at the BSUTH Conference Hall, Makurdi.
