SUBEB Investigation:
The Benue State House of Assembly has directed Dr. Grace Adagba, Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), to step aside for investigations into primary school teacher recruitment. The decision, supported by a majority of lawmakers, was announced by Speaker Hyacinth Dajoh during Thursday’s plenary.
Renaming of BSU:
A bill to rename Benue State University (BSU) after Rev. Fr. Moses Adasu, the state’s second civilian governor, passed the second reading in the Assembly.
Fr. Alia Multipurpose Hall Commissioning:
Deputy Governor Sam Ode commissioned the remodelled Fr. Alia Multipurpose Hall at SUBEB headquarters, applauding Dr. Grace Adagba for her leadership and achievements during her first year in office.

Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro condemned the killing of four individuals in Ado LGA by suspected armed men from Ebonyi State, calling for peace among feuding communities.
New Appointments:
Governor Hyacinth Alia appointed Prof. Daniel Amine, Mrs. Afaityo Rebecca, Michael Uper, Erdoo Mongol, and Surveyor Tsokar Terfa to key government positions. Prof. Amine will head the Benue Geographical Information System (BENGIS).
