1. The only daughter of Tunde Mark, Odree Omalo and his wife, Nasu, were on Sunday decorated with Idoma native attire.
The event took place during a thanksgiving mass for the successful burial of Tunde at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Otukpo.
2. Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have murdered the Information Officer of Ukum LGA of Benue State, Orbunde Ephraim
Ephraim was murdered Saturday night in his Tse Afati Sankera residence by the gunmen.
3. Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom cautions those in the habit of destroying posters, billboards and other campaign materials of political opponents to desist from the act or be prepared to face punishment according to the law.
The Governor states that democracy guarantees freedom for everyone to campaign without molestation, and stresses that no individual or group has the right to pull down campaign materials of opponents.
4. Lady Mariam Ochefu, founder of the popular MAMMY Market, today received an award from the National body of SS Peter and Paul for humanitarian services.
She’s a member of the Adoka Catholic Community, Otukpo in Benue State of Nigeria.
5. Former military administrator, Tunde Ogbeha, Prof. Innocent Ujah, VC Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Usman Abubakar (Young Alhaji), Chief John Eyimonye and other prominent Nigerians on Sunday stormed the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Otukpo for a thanksgiving mass for the successful burial of Tunde Mark.

The Middle Belt Christian Forum has called on Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to reconcile any differences between them and work together in order to solve the many challenges bedeviling Benue as well as other states in the Middle Belt region.
Spokesman of the forum, Pastor Jeremiah Bitrus, disclosed this in Jos, the Plateau State capital at the end of the forum’s emergency meeting.

8. Gov Samuel Ortom on Sunday, November 13th, 2022 attended the investiture of Oliver Aba as Prelate of the Methodist Church, Nigeria. The ceremony which took place at Methodist Church of the Trinity, Tinubu, Lagos also had the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi in attendance.
Governor Ortom was also given the Award by the Methodist Church as ‘Worthy Ambassador of Jesus Christ’ for his contributions to the body of Christ in Nigeria.
9. A former Deputy Rector of the Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, and lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronics, Oche Enenche, was, weekend, shot dead by the criminal gangs tormenting motorists and commuters on the busy Otukpo-Eke-Ugbokolo-Otukpa highway.
The former Deputy Rector was reportedly killed by gunmen on Friday evening while on his way back to Ugbokolo from Otukpo in the company of his wife.
10. The Chairman of the Benue Internal Revenue Service, BIRS, Mrs. Mimi Adzape-Orubibi, weekend, disclosed that over 100 persons have been arrested and arraigned for operating illegal tax collection points across the state.
Mrs. Adzape-Orubibi said more arrests are being made to ensure that the criminal elements harassing traders and well as businessmen and women on Benue highways are brought to justice.
