1. BIPC to Support Farmers
   The Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC) plans to purchase goods from farmers across the state. This was announced by BIPC Managing Director Raymond Asemakaha during a meeting with stakeholders, including the Benue Traders Association and the Benue Farmers and Traders Protection and Development Association.

2. Benue NUJ Elects New Leadership

   Benue’s All Progressives Congress (APC) crisis disrupted a Thanksgiving service in Naka town last weekend. Political thugs attempted to hijack the event, marking a troubling spillover of party conflicts into religious gatherings.

6. Senator Seeks Collaboration on Link Road
   Senate Deputy Chief Whip Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi has partnered with Hon. Sunny Oche, Ado LGA Chairman, to facilitate the grading and rehabilitation of the link road connecting Benue and Ebonyi states.

7. State to Introduce CNG and Electric Vehicles
   To address rising transport costs caused by increased fuel prices, the Benue State Government plans to introduce compressed natural gas (CNG) and electric-powered vehicles.    Governor Hycinth Alia has called on journalists to promote positive narratives about Benue State. He made this appeal while opening the NUJ Benue Council Triennial Conference 2024.

9. NAFDAC Seals Agrochemical Warehouse
   NAFDAC sealed Purity Agro Chemical Centre in Gboko, Benue State, for storing 724 cartons of expired Patriarc agrochemicals. The agency disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
