1. Rev. Fr. Dr. Innocent Ejeh, the first ordained Catholic Priest in Idoma land is dead.
He was ordained on 18/8/1974

2. Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has again cautioned the people of the state against sabotaging security agencies posted to their areas.

He enjoined that they rather support them to succeed in their assignment to secure lives and property.

3. Peter Apeh, former media director of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State would on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in the Banquet Hall, Nigerian Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, formally present to the public his new book titled, ‘The 4 Biographies That Can Inspire Your Greatness.’

4. Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has sent a message of condolence to the Catholic Bishop of Makurdi Diocese and the entire Catholic community in the State over the demise of one its foremost priests Rev Father Michael Murphy .
Rev Murphy who is the longest serving Catholic Priest in Benue State who recently celebrated his 60th year as a priest was reported dead on Monday, November 28th, 2022 in Makurdi, Benue State after a brief illness at the age of 94 years.

5. Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) Reverend Father Hycinth Alia, Monday expressed joy over the judgement delivered at the Federal High Court Abuja, presided over by Justice Kolowale Omotosho.
He said the case instituted by the PDP against INEC and himself was a clear depiction of desperation by the Benue PDP.
