1. Three persons have been reportedly killed in a freshly armed herdsmen attack in Tse Ikem community Ukemberagya, in Ukemberagya/Tswarev Council Ward of Logo Local Government Area, LGA, of Benue state.
It was gathered from a community leader in the area, Chief Joseph Anawa that the armed herders stormed the community at about 6 pm on Sunday and laid ambush on Tse Ikem road near Anawah settlement between Chembe and Anyiin, for their unsuspecting victims.

2. Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state has commended the wife of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential candidate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu for identifying with the victims of flood disaster in the state.

3. The Benue Youth Forum, BYF, on Monday, lashed out at the Peoples the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar over his comment on the recent killing in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State by Fulani herders.
BYF said Atiku urinated on the graves of those killed by Fulani herders in Ukum Local Government Area of the state.

4. Benue Coalition for Democracy, BCD, said it read with total disappointment and sadness the reaction of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in which he spat on the graves of scores of people killed by Fulani herdsmen in Gbeji, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.
The Benue Coalition for Democracy, BCD views the unfortunate statement by the PDP Presidential flagbearer as an evil-intentioned one to mock the dead and spite the government and people who lost loved ones even in their adversity.

5. Several persons have lost their lives in a fatal accident that occurred at Odoba in Otukpa, along the ever busy Otukpo-Enugu road.
It was gathered that the accident involved a Toyota Camry car heading towards Abuja and a Red Volkswagen (Golf) car fully loaded heading towards Enugu.

6. The Executive Committee of G-9 Benue South Progressives Forum has been dissolved and an INTERIM EXCO has been duly set up.

The dissolution followed some acts of conspiracy and gross misconduct perpetrated by some Executive members who surreptitiously used the name of our noble group to collect money and strike alliances with PDP and other political parties for their own selfish gain.

7. Wives of Bola Tinubu and that of Kashim Shettima, have come under fire for flying in the presidential jet to Benue State.
Oluremi Tinubu and Hajia Nana Shettima, were in Benue State on Monday to visit victims of flood disaster.
