1. Suspected herders again killed three persons in a community in the Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
The suspected herders were said to have invaded Ngban community in Guma local government Sunday evening.
2. The Benue State Police Command on Monday confirmed the killing of three persons in an attack at Tse Ngban village of Nyiev Council Ward of Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
The Command’s Public Relations Officers, SP. Catherine Anene, who confirmed the incident, said the corpse of the deceased has been sent to the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, while an investigation is ongoing.
3. Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has urged the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to address the injustices meted out to Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and other members of the party.
The governor, who spoke, yesterday, in Government House, Makurdi, during an expanded caucus meeting of the PDP in Benue State, noted that he has offered suggestion on how party should be resolve their lingering crisis at the national party, warned that ignoring Wike, or anyone at that, would be dangerous for the party at the polls.
4. Pure Biotech Company Ltd, producer of ethanol, has distributed rice to Angbaaye community in Makurdi Local Government Area of Benue to cushion the effect of recent violent clashes that hit the area.
