1. Gov Samuel Ortom of Benue state, on Tuesday inaugurated the 35-Kilometre Okpoga- Idoba – Ichama Federal Rural Electrification project in Ichama, Okpokwu Local Government Area of the state.
The project facilitated by Rep. Francis Agbo, from Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency.

2. Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state has assured that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, would win the elections in the state despite the noise from the opposition.
The Governor spoke Tuesday in Makurdi while addressing party supporters and leaders during the reception for the PDP governorship candidate, Titus Uba who recently returned to the country after being away on health grounds.
3. Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has expressed delight that the forces of darkness which had planned to scuttle the governorship ambition of Engr. Titus Uba have been stopped by God.
A visibly elated Governor Ortom bared his mind Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 while addressing the mammoth crowd that turned up to welcome the PDP governorship candidate to the State after his medical vacation.
4. All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Benue South District Comrade Dan Onje has said that BenueState will reap the benegit of voting for the presidentialcandidate, AsiwajuBolaAhmedTinubu.
He said Tinubu will fight infrastructure battle and tackle the deplorable condition of roads, particularly, the road linking Otukpo and Igede land and the one linking Aliade and Igede land (Obi and Oju LGAs).
5. The founder of Champions Royal Assembly, Abuja, Prophet Joshua Iginla, has predicted that the G-5 governors faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, will fall apart.
Iginla in his ‘Prophetic Release’ for 2023, said while the group made up of Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom, governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, would make a difference in the 2023 polls, there will be a break up due to external pressure.

7. An underage child on Wednesday shot dead another child belonging to the same parent in Ebologna village, Otukpo.
A source disclosed to Idoma voice that the child accidentally killed another with a father’s gun.
