The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has accused criminals of enforcing sit-at-home on days not approved by the group.
According to IPOB, the criminals are the ones killing, kidnapping and hijacking cars in the Southeast.
IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, said the criminals do not deserve mercy and also do not deserve to live.

Powerful made the remark while calling on the Nigerian security forces to act professionally in flushing out criminals from the Southeast.
He urged the Nigerian security agents to go after those behind the Monday sit-at-home order in some states of the Southeast.
Powerful insisted that those killed by security agents in Iheoma and Amaifeke areas of Orlu are not members of IPOB or ESN.
In a statement, Powerful said IPOB members are not allowed to carry out any action that would affect the lives of people of the Southeast.
A statement by Powerful reads: “The global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU, wish to use this medium to tell the Nigerian Government and its security agencies, especially the military on a mission to depopulate Biafran youths to drop their wicked agenda.
“We wish to remind them that those they killed in Iheoma and Amaifeke in Orlu were not IPOB members or ESN operatives because IPOB volunteers don’t enforce non-existent Monday sit-at-home. It’s not in doubt that IPOB issued Monday sit-at-home order to solidarize with our Leader but upon pleas by our mothers and elders based on its adverse effects on the economy of our people, we quickly rescinded it. Anyone still enforcing Monday sit-at-home is not a genuine IPOB member but a dissident and doesn’t deserve any mercy.
“We remind them once again that IPOB is not responsible for these criminalities in the whole of Biafraland, including Iheoma and Amaifeke Orlu. IPOB is not missing any of its members in the Orlu senatorial zone.”
Powerful urged relevant stakeholders in the Southeast to unite and fight against the criminals blackmailing and bastardizing IPOB.
He added: “We are calling on the stakeholders of Eastern Region to come together and fight these criminals trying to blackmail and demonize IPOB. We don’t know them and have absolutely nothing to do with them.
“These criminals are kidnapping, snatching cars and killing innocent citizens claiming they are IPOB and ESN members while they are not. They deserve no mercy. They are not worthy to live. Whoever is sponsoring them should be brought to book.
“IPOB securities both ESN and IPOB volunteers are not permitted to do anything that will threaten the lives of Biafrans and this is a fundamental principle and policy of IPOB.”
