In the latest Npower news, there are speculations that the 2023 Batch may soon be recruited under the administration of President Tinubu.
As Npower Batch C2 nears completion of their 1-year empowerment program and with ongoing changes to the Nasims self-service portal, there is a possibility that the new batch for 2023 could be enrolled during President Tinubu’s tenure.
Introduced by former President Buhari in 2016, the Npower program has successfully enrolled three batches of volunteers so far: A, B, and the current C batch.
The primary objective of the Npower program is to equip young Nigerian youths with employability and entrepreneurship skills, enhancing their chances of securing employment or becoming successful entrepreneurs.
Over a million youths have already benefited from the Npower program, receiving monthly stipends of N30,000 for graduates and N10,000 for non-graduates.
However, there has been no official statement regarding the future of the Npower program under the new administration, and payments for Batch C beneficiaries’ 8-month backlog are still pending.
It’s crucial for prospective Npower applicants to be cautious and avoid scams. Applying for the Npower program should never require any payment, and any portal demanding payment for Npower recruitment is likely a scam.
While the possibility of new recruitments in the future remains, there is currently no ongoing 2023 recruitment of applicants.
