Mkor Aondona Donatus, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Research, Documentation and Strategy, has strongly denied involvement in any leaked explicit video circulating on social media, describing the material as fake, AI-generated, and politically motivated.

In an official statement released on Monday, Dr. Mkor clarified that neither the names nor facial features in the purported video and images match his identity. He asserted that the content is a malicious attempt to tarnish his reputation using AI-manipulated visuals and baseless allegations.

“It is important to clarify that the person in that video is not me — not by name, not by facial features. None of the identities match mine,” he said.

“In this age of AI manipulation and digital doctoring, anyone can be framed using fabricated content. This is a breach of my right to identity and person, and it will be treated as a criminal offence.”

Mkor also dismissed claims that furniture or décor seen in the video matched items in his home or office, calling such comparisons “laughable” and “ignorant,” given the mass availability of similar items in the market.

He condemned allegations that he shared the content online or participated in recording it, calling such accusations “stupid, wicked, and nonsensical.”

“I am not insane, not a drunk, and certainly not idle enough to be involved in such disgraceful acts. I am highly educated, responsible, and committed to supporting the Governor’s office through my advisory role,” he stated.

The Special Adviser further alleged that the video smear campaign is politically driven, possibly by opposition forces both within and outside the APC, aimed at undermining Governor Alia’s administration.

Reacting to another circulating claim that he was directed to recruit “slim ushers” for the recently concluded Benue State Annual Colloquium, Dr. Mkor categorically denied the allegation. He described it as a falsehood being peddled by individuals like Ukan Kurugh and one “D’Naked Elder” Zege Orkwande.

“At no point did Governor Hyacinth Alia instruct me to hire ushers based on physical appearance. The ushers were selected strictly on the basis of professionalism and experience in event management,” he clarified, adding that legal action has already been initiated against the peddlers of the false claims.

He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to service, calling on the public to disregard the smear campaign, and placing his trust in divine justice.

“God is above evil,” he declared.
