Lekki Massacre: ‘The world needs to engage’ – popular American rapper calls for global action

Popular American rapper, Chancelor Johnathan Bennett aka Chance The Rapper, has called on the global community to rise up to the travesty going on in Nigeria.

Chance who was particularly reacting to the killing of over nine young End SARS protesters by government security operatives at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos on Tuesday, said the world needs to step into the matter.

“There is a massacre happening in Lekki. Firing squads mass murdering young people in Nigeria. The world needs to engage #endSARS,” Chance The Rapper tweeted.

IDOMA VOICE had earlier reported that Nigerian soldiers trapped the unarmed protesters around the toll gate on Tuesday evening. At least nine were confirmed killed by witnesses and those beaming development from the scene live on Tuesday night.
