Lekki massacre: We didn’t shoot protesters – Army denies despite video evidence

The Nigerian Army had denied any knowledge or involvement in the shooting of peaceful End SARS protesters at Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos on Tuesday.

The army through its verified Twitter page said the news is fake.

It was earlier reported that some Nigerian soldiers open fire on unarmed protesters in Lagos on Tuesday, killing at least 15 and injuring scores.

Several persons including former US presidential aspirant, Hillary Clinton have fingered Nigerian army in the massacre.
