Lekki massacre: Why Buhari should resign – Davido

Nigerian Afro-beat singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has criticized President Muhammadu Buhari over the shooting in Lekki tollgate in Lagos State.

Davido called on Buhari to resign as president, following the attack on peaceful protesters.

Men of the Nigerian Army reportedly opened fire on protesters in Lekki tollgate, on Tuesday night.

This is coming few hours after a 24 hours curfew by the Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwolu.

But, the Army had denied presence of its soldiers at the scene of the incident.

Reacting to the massacre, Davido tweeted: “Buhari it’s game over step down.@MBuhari, @jidesanwoolu,@AsiwajuTinubu. How can u even sleep? God help us.

“Please where is the hospital that most of the patients have been taken too?

“Have they been treated for free? Is there a bill that needs to be paid ? I need answers.”
