Lekki toll gate shooting: How Army lied against Lagos Gov, Sanwo-Olu – Nnamdi Kanu makes another revelation

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has accused the Nigerian Army of lying against the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu over the shooting at Lekki toll gate.

Kanu said President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the soldiers to shoot End SARS protesters and not Sanwo-Olu.

He insisted that the governor did not order the deployment of the soldiers but Buhari.

Soldiers had last week Tuesday stormed the Lekki toll gate and shot at peaceful End SARS protesters.

However, the 81 Division of the Nigerian Army had admitted that it’s soldiers were present at the scene of the protest but did not kill anybody.

The division also disclosed that they stormed Lekki toll gate on the order of Sanwo-Olu.

Reacting, Kanu in a tweet on Wednesday wrote: “Nobody should believe @HQNigerianArmy’s claim that it was @jidesanwoolu that ordered for soldiers to be brought to #Lekki.

“It’s a brazen LIE. Since when did Governors become Army Commanders. #LekkiMassacre was ordered by the Fulanized @NGRPresident and executed by a Fulanized Army.”
