The Ekweremadus are arriving- two of the Senators children (sons)are seated to my left. They look worried but managing their facial expressions pretty well.
The session is about to commence- hopefully.
It’s been delayed now for two hours cause the Defendants are yet to arrive. We are told they are been held by traffic.
There are a lot of Nigerians in attendance. Many who came late are waiting outside the court room, seeking to gain entrance.
Lawyers on both sides are also seated.
We are still now waiting for Senator Ekweremadu and wife, and of course the presiding Judge, Deputy Senior District Judge Tanweer Ikram.
Former Senate President David Mark is also in court to show support for his former colleague.
