Living Faith drags man to court for accusing its pastor of manhood theft in Benue

The Living Faith Church Wurukum Makurdi, Benue State has debunked the claim of a man identified as Dr Aime , a Lecturer with Alfred Akawe Polytechnic who was tagged as ritualist, lynched and dehumanized by angry mob on November 8 in Makurdi while on evangelism was brazen falsehood, lies and premeditated barbarism to witch hunt the devoted servant of God.

The Church expressed dismay over the action of the young man who raised false alarm of missing manhood.

The Living Faith Church Wurukum said categorically that, Dr. Aime was not a ritualist but true evangelist, who went out to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dr. Aime was rescued by men of the Nigerian Army whose fate hinged on jungle justice at the time of his rescue.

According to release by Church media team, the accuser of Dr. Aime will be charged to court, proved and if found guilty, persecuted adequately.

We write on behalf of Living Faith Church Wurukum Makurdi to debunk the false allegation and accusations by a fraudster to dent the image of Dr. Emmanuel Aime as an individual and the church at large.

The aforementioned man is an academic doctor with Akawe Torkura Polythecnic in Makurdi, where he works as a lecturer. In Living Faith Church he serves in the security unit.

He is a faithful steward who is always on the go for evangelism. He is quite devoted to kingdom service.

Yesterday, November 8, 2023, Dr Aime left the church after the covenant hour of prayers to embark on evangelism as he has always done. He proceeded along Otukpo road, with the intention of spreading the gospel of Christ as usual.

“He alighted to preach to a young man whom he touched or prayed for. Unbeknownst to him, this young man left but ran back after a while raising false alarm of his missing manhood (penis). Consequently, Dr Aime was lynched by an angry mob.

“However, he was rescued by men of the Nigerian army. They quickly intervened and took both Dr Aime and his accuser to the police station.

“Upon arrival at the police station, the accuser was checked by the police medical team and they discovered that his manhood was very much intact. As a result, he was detained by the police and will be charged to court on November 10, 2023.

“Currently, Dr Emmanuel Aime is receiving treatment at Sandra’s Hospital, Makurdi. The leadership of Living Faith Church Wurukum, Makurdi wishot to make it clear that Dr Aime is not a ritualist The allegations against him were baseless and malicious.

“Currently, the Church shall employ all legal means to ensure that those behind this premeditated barbarism are brought to book. Let is be known that no gate of hell shall prevail against the Church of Christ and His anointed servants.
