Love-gone-sour: How Airforce personnel, Kalu killed lover for cheating on him in Benue (WATCH VIDEO)

An Airforce personnel, Aircraft Man (ACM), Kalu B.A., Sunday morning shot his female colleague dead.

He reportedly carried out the act over claim that she was cheating on him.
The incident occurred at the Nigerian Airforce (NAF) base in Makurdi, Benue state capital.
Kalu had confronted his deceased girlfriend, Aircraft Woman, (ACW) Oladipupo S.A at their quarters in the base over allegations that she was seeing a civilian within the base.

Following an argument, he opened fire on his lover at close range.

It was gathered that Kalu also made an attempt to shoot the civilian before his gun failed.

The unidentified man quickly ran away and raised alarm that attracted soldiers in the neighbourhood.

The base Command Public Relations Officer, Wing Commander Emmanuel Iheoma has confirmed the incident.

“ACM, Kalu B.A shot an Air Woman, Oladipupo at 6.06am this morning.

“She was taken to 161 NAF hospital located in the base and was later referred to the Benue State Teaching Hospital (BSUTH) in Makurdi where she died,” he told Daily Trust.

“Her corpse had been deposited at the NAF hospital mortuary while the accused, Kalu has been arrested and detained at Air Provost Squadron. Investigation to ascertain what actually happened has commenced”, he added.
