Chelsea FC have reportedly approached Paris Saint-Germain’s sporting adviser, Luís Campos, and have offered the Portuguese director a salary of €8m.
Recall that the London club sacked Thomas Tuchel last week, the Premier League side moved to replace the former PSG coach with Brighton man Graham Potter.
It was also gathered that the UEFA Champions League winning team also wants to restructure the club’s sporting management and is looking at bringing in Luís Campos.
According to GFFN, the club owner, Todd Boehly wants the former Lille and Monaco man to manage the Londonders’ next two transfer windows, which would see Campos have a total of €300m at his disposal.
His contract with PSG does not prevent him from accepting the offer, however he cannot work for more than three clubs as he already holds roles at Celta Vigo and the Ligue 1 champions. The move would only require a “transfer fee” for PSG.
