Luka Modric extends contract at Real Madrid

Luka Modric has extended his stay at Real Madrid by signing a new short-term deal with them, as per Fabrizio Romano.

The Croatian has signed a new 1-year extension to his existing deal after having an impressive season for Los Blancos.

Modric had a verbal agreement for a new deal for the past few months, but has now signed the deal to complete it.

An official announcement of the extension should be done soon as Luka wants to continue his journey at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Modric played a big role in Real’s Champions League win, getting 4 assists in 13 appearances – including important ones against PSG and Chelsea.
