This achievement was highlighted by Apple Music, which reported that Lungu Boy is topping the charts in countries such as Nigeria, the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Kenya, Benin, Cameroon, Canada, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritius, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Lungu Boy marks Asake’s second musical project since signing with Olamide’s YBNL and Empire Music Distribution. The EP was released on August 7, 2024.
The project features 11 tracks and includes collaborations with artists such as Travis Scott, Stormzy, and Ludmilla.
