Major Gen Segun Oni: Tears, tributes pour in for slain soldier

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Nigerian Army and the community of Eruku in Ekiti Local Government Area, Kwara State, following the tragic passing of Major Segun Abiodun Oni.

IDOMA VOICE reports thar Major Oni died on August 13, 2023, alongside fellow soldiers while leading a military operation to eliminate banditry in parts of Niger State.

He described the late Major Oni as an exemplary and decorated army officer, who earned numerous military accolades for his exceptional commitment, discipline, and dedication to his service to the nation.
