Man allegedly commits suicide in Idoma community after wife disappeared with his life savings

A middle aged man identified as Moses, has reportedly committed suicide at Aho Ogbo, a village in Owukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State.

It was gathered that Moses went the way of all mortals after taking substance suspected to be sniper.

A source said the deceased had given a meeting contribution (money) which he intended to use in starting up a business.

However, his allegedly wife took the money and fled to an unknown destination, a development that reportedly triggered his suicide mission.

Report had it that a visibly angry Moses stormed the house of his in-law and set it on fire.

From there, he went home, drank sniper and died on the spot.

He has since been buried.

The incident happened few days after another young man identified as Agada Onogwu, allegedly committed suicide at Egundele, Ukalegu, Owukpa .
