A 35-year-old man named Musa Abdulai, suspected of aiding bandits in Ekiti State by supplying them with food items, has been arrested. The arrest occurred on Monday, October 7, 2024, around 6:30 pm in Ise Ekiti, as reported by Officer Adeleye Abiodun, Head of the Communications Department of the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps.
Abdulai, originally from Sokoto State and residing in Shasha, Akure, Ondo State, was apprehended by Amotekun Operatives from the Ise-Ekiti Local Government Command during a patrol at Oritan Forest Reserve in Ise/Orun. He reportedly confessed to delivering food supplies to individuals believed to be Fulani/Bororo bandits hiding in the area.
A sack containing food items was recovered from him at the scene. The suspect has been handed over to the Divisional Police Station in Ise Ekiti for further investigation.
