Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal bosses make list of Top 10 richest football club owners in the world

English Premier League clubs Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal owners ranked 1st, 5th and 7th respectively on the list of Top 10 richest football club owners in the world as revealed by top outlet Reddit.

Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid owners are noticeably missing.

IDOMA VOICE correspondent observed that the top 10 is completely occupied by European club owners.

According to top outlet Reddit, Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour is the richest club owner in the world.

The Emirati politician who is the deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, minister of presidential affairs and member of the royal family of Abu Dhabi splashed £210 million to buy the club in a much publicised deal in 2008.

RB Leipzig’s owner Dietrich Mateschitz is second on the list. A Forbes report in July 2020 claims Mateschitz’s net worth was estimated at $26.9 billion, making him the 40th wealthiest person in the world.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has however dropped down to fifth in top 10 richest football club owners.
