Man lands in prison for accusing Gov Alia of diverting N7bn palliative fund

A certain Gyenger Paul has been remanded at the Federal Correctional Center, Yaikyor Makurdi.

The trial Magistrate, His Worship, TK Atta, Esq refused the oral application for bail and remanded the accused person.

Master Paul Gyenger was charged with the following Offences; Cyber stalking, criminal defamation, injurious falsehood.

The accused had in a Facebook post alleged that Governor Hycainth Alia had diverted N7bn palliative fund to complete his house in Abuja.
