A Facebook user from Ughelli, Delta State, who simply identified himself as King J-boy, has narrated how his 11-year-old sister, Clementina, was arrested by men of the Nigeria Police.
According to the Facebook user, the officers came for some else but resulted to arresting the minor since they couldn’t find the person they came for.
He informed that the police made the 11-year-old to sleep in their custody despite series of attemps to bail the girl by her family.
He wrote; “I want the whole world to see what the so called Nigeriapolice are doing, some policemen came to our house in ughelli delta state yesterday to make an arrest but couldn’t find the person they came for then took my little sister a MINOR of 11years to the station since yesterday, after series of trying to bail her they refuse to release her to us and the little girl has been in the police custody since yesterday till now….for what she knows noting of…this is kidnapping, human rights abuse, unlawful detention.
