A Zamfara State High Court has sentenced, Anas Dahiru of Unguwar Dallatu, Gusau, to death by hanging for the killing of his friend, Shamsu Ibrahim.
The incident, stemming from a dispute over a mere one hundred Naira in 2017, led to the fatal encounter involving a knife.

The court, in accordance with section 221 of the Penal Code, handed down the death penalty by hanging.
In a separate case, Sadiqu Abubakar faced the judgment of life imprisonment for attempted armed robbery in Bungudu Local Government Area. Sadiqu was convicted for attacking a businessman in Runji village.
