Joshua Alabama Gwebe, the young man who was recently arrested by men of the Department of State Security, DSS, for allegedly posting of a derogatory story on social media against the Vice-Chancellor Benue State University, Makurdi, Prof Joe Tor Iorapuu, has been released.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that he was released on Tuesday after spending five days in detention.
Gwebe was said to had in a social media (Facebook) post alleged that Prof Joe Tor Iorapuu, the Vice-Chancellor Benue State University, slapped a student in the premises of the University, who in his post ran mad as a result of the slap.
The post made him to land in the custody of Department of State Security, DSS, where he celebrated his birthday on Saturday, 3 April.
He also celebrated the Easter holidays there.
