Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed clubs around the world tried to sign him before he chose to join Al Nassr.
The 37-year-old was speaking at his official presentation on Tuesday.
According to him, he could have been playing in Europe or America, but he decided to move to Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo’s lucrative contract will earn an eye watering £173million a year.
“Nobody knows but I can say now that I had many opportunities in Europe.
“Many clubs in Brazil, in Australia, in US even in Portugal, many clubs tried to sign me.
“But I had given Al Nassr my word,” Ronaldo said.
