Many feared dead from stampede at Gwagwalada palliative warehouse

Several persons have reportedly lost their lives from stampede thay occurred at the palliative warehouse in Gwagwalada area of Abuja.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that some hoodlums had invaded the COVID-19 palliative warehouse in Gwagwalada to loot food items on Monday.

However, due to the number of looters struggling to loot items, many people were trapped to death.

At the time of this report, five persons have been confirmed dead.

A resident doctor at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital confirmed that two several persons have been confirmed dead while many are in critical condition.
