The Kano state government has officially confirmed that first coronavirus case has been recorded in the state.
The confirmation came on the heels of the rumour making the round that a Kano indigene who had for long lived in Lagos, later sneaked into the city, with the deadly virus.
Confirming the incident in an interview with news men in Kano Saturday, the state Commissioner of Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, said with the latest development, the Task Force has already swung into action on possible steps to be taken, adding that members of the public would be kept posted on comprehensive details about the issue.
