IDOMA VOICE reports that Mary Daniel, an amputee sachet water hawker, who became a media sensation after her photos went viral, was was exposed by some of the PR persons who sold her story for not settling them despite getting a huge N26 million donation from the Lagos state government.

They exposed that Daniel’s father was still alive contrary to her claims that her parents died in the accident that amputated her.

There were reports that she was being investigated by the Lagos state government following the revelations by her aggrieved PR persons.

She however, since then apologized for deceiving the public.

The government has revealed that there’s been a committee set to oversee Daniel’s rehabilitation and ensure that the donated funds are used judiciously.

According to Adebowale, the ultimate desire of the state government is to ensure that Daniel becomes a civically responsible citizen in the state.

“She now has the resources to take care of herself and her baby and have a new lease of life.” she said
