Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State, Sure Abu (Simba) and 20,000 others have dumped the party for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state.
Abu also left the party alongside the APC youth leader, Edoh Ali, of the Local Government as well as four ward chairmen of the party.
They joined the party on Monday in Agatu during the local government tour of Governor Samuel Ortom.
Speaking shortly after decamping to the parry, Abu asked George Akume to apologize to the people of Benue State for trying to mislead Governor Ortom.
Receiving the decampees on Monday, the state chairman of the party, Sir John Ngbede welcome them and urged them to work for the success of the party in the forthcoming election.
