2013 was the last time someone from Benue Senatorial South(Zone C) won this great position after decades of ‘trying’ and denials, though impeached before the expiration of her reign. If I am not mistaking, the President of Student Union is the number one Student among millions of Students in every university system in our dear country.
Though, Comr. Adai Pius (Vice Present and now, President elect) was no doubt, standing far taller than all his contenders in the race, it was still a thing of fear and concern how our Tiv brothers would allow justice to prevail. Everyone was afraid knowing fully well how the likes of Comr. John Augustine Idoko and several others had engaged in the race, contested and won but Democracy was murdered and a different person was announced. It even came to a point where it’s advice by fellow Zone C brothers not to waste their time in going into fruitless contest because history has never been on favor of Zone C. Despite several discouragement from almost all advisers, he took the bold step and has now emerged victorious.
Yes, I have always being a keen student of school of thought which says that “good character combine with hard labour pave ways where is no way”. Today, my keenness has got to the peak as the unbelievable impossibility has become this possible.
Comrade, as God has given you this very rare and demanding opportunity, He shall provide you with wisdom need to take Federal university of Agriculture, Makurdi to a place where it’s ought to be. Good Luck and congratulations my dear brother.
