IDOMA VOICE reports that over 10 persons have been feared dead and property worth millions destroyed in a renewed communal clash that ensued between Mbasombo and Mbaivur communities.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the long age crisis has defied all solutions proposed by the government over the years.

In 2021 alone, the crisis occurred about seven times with many killed and houses razed.

Investigations have revealed that the current crisis broke out over the land.

The singer lamented that his family house located in Ikpayongo might also be burnt in a matter of hours if nothing is done urgently.

Speaking on behalf of the family, popular activist, Ukan Kurugh, called on security agencies to come to the aide of the singer

He said, “I am using the opportunity to call on all security agencies in Benue state to wade into this matter now before it gets out of hand. Travelers are also calling me to say there is huge smoke from burning houses visible from the road and people running helter skelter for their lives.”
