Mr. Akintoye Benson, the Chairman of the Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOOAN) Zone H in Lagos State, has passed away.
Benson, who also served as an aide to the Chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo, reportedly lost his life on Thursday night in a tragic motor accident on the Third Mainland Bridge.
His close associate, Ogunseye Vincent, confirmed his untimely demise in a post shared on Facebook on Friday.
Vincent expressed profound shock at the news of Benson’s passing, describing him as a dynamic individual with lofty aspirations.
“The news of your passing came as a sudden blow. You were a man filled with vigor, dreams, and vision.
“Although the memories we shared will remain etched forever, I find solace in the belief that Olodumare will grant your soul eternal peace. Farewell to the eternal journey, Comrade Akintoye Benson (Baba Ogun).
“Farewell to the eternal journey, COM. NATHANIEL AKINTOYE BENSON (Baba Ogun), Chairman TOOAN Zone H,” Vincent wrote.
