Popular Nigerian Comedian MC Peteru is dead.
IDOMA VOICE reports that Ibadan fast-rising comedian, Owomoyela Nifemi popularly known as MC Peteru is dead.
This online news platform understands that Peteru who is a household name in comedy circles due to his unique delivery in mimicking people, among other talent was said to have breathed his last breath on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
Confirming MC Peteru death, one of his colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry, Adams Adebayo took to the social media network, Instagram to mourn his painful demise.
Adams Adebayo wrote; “I am bereaved to read the news of your demise my brother, You are one of the entertainer that is trying his best to put Ibadan on global map.
“Your role in comedy and entertainment industry is recognized but it’s sad to read you have went to rest with your maker.
“I pray that Almighty God be with your family and grant them fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
“May the good Lord rest your soul and grant you peaceful rest Champ.
“Rest on Peteru comedian.
“Adieu!”

Several reports sighted by News One Nigeria say MC Peteru had been nursing cancer of the lungs for a long time before his death on Wednesday, 21 December 2022.
