Meet Jojo of Lele: The Idoma girl changing the content game

Unknown to many, popular content creator and social media sensation JojoOfLele, also known as the “Ratel Queen,” is a proud daughter of the Idoma community.

Though born and raised in Kaduna State, Josephine Sunday, her real name, hails from Okpokwu Local Government Area in Benue State, IDOMA VOICE observed.
JojoOfLele rose to prominence with her emotional storytelling, viral acts of kindness, and a bold, unfiltered approach to content creation that has captivated millions of fans across Nigeria and beyond.
Her genuine and vulnerable style has kept followers glued to her social media pages, making her one of the most influential voices from the Idoma ethnic group on social media.
Many fans have faulted her for not publicly identifying with her tribe, which has led to many mistakenly believing she is a native of Kaduna State.

However, Jojo has recently used her platform to express her strong connection to her Idoma roots, especially when she spoke out against the ongoing killings in Benue State.

Her journey to fame started with a videos on TikTok and Instagram, where her relatable content quickly gained traction.

In 2022, she went viral after gifting ₦710,000 to a struggling woman, an act of generosity that endeared her to many.

JojoOfLele’s rise hasn’t been without drama. She was at the center of a public spat with popular social critic VeryDarkMan (VDM), who accused radio host Nedu Wazobia of having an affair with her, a claim he later retracted and apologized for.
