Meet Omale the young graduate shoemaker who designs shoes for VP Osibanjo
The story of a young graduate who designs shoes for the cream de la’creams of the society including Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, is fast becoming a growing internet sensation.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that Omale OJ who is the CEO of OJBest footwear, ventured into shoemaking after many years of been unemployed despite being a graduate. Today he have a clientele that includes a Vice President and other society heavyweights.
Usman Okai Austin, a popular Kogi-born activist, who shared the inspiring story of Omale on social media (Facebook) called on award organizers in Igalaland to honour the young man who recently took the shoe measurement of Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo.
He wrote:

The organizer of who’s who and Oma Igala night and ICDA should take note, award shouldn’t be base on who can afford a particular table or Directors alone, the best taxi driver, the best carpenter in Igala land and the best lecturers, Teachers etc can also be accord that honor,
Ours is generation where people graduate into politics without thinking of what to do next….
This young man deserves celebration and recognition, his own business took him to Vice President directly and they are now talking as a friend.

We are growing at over 3 million per annum, while government can’t produce 300 thousand job per annum, we are having College of education, Universities , Polytechnic and school of nurses graduating students every years, we must think out of the box.”
