Former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has faulted some candidates condemning the endorsement of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
IDOMA VOICE recalls that Obasanjo publicly declared his support for Obi and also advocated for a power shift to the south east.
This endorsement, however, did not go down well with many people, especially the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and his APC counterpart, Bola Tinubu as well as their supporters.
Many of them described Obasanjo’s endorsement of Obi as paperweight and worthless.

Reacting, however, Sani in a tweet advised those crticising the endorsement to get the blessing of other former heads of state or event Ordinary President of Brekete Family Radio.
He tweeted, “Obasanjo has made his choice. He is entitled to his opinion. He should not be attacked. Those who can’t get his endorsement should seek that of Gowon,IBB or Abdulsallam, they are equally credible former military and political leaders.Ordinary President of Berekete is also available.”
