Mercy Love Network distributes food items, empower youths across Idoma land
The Mercy Love Network, a humanitarian organisation, has expanded its Christmas outreach across several parts of Idoma land, with a major donation exercise held in Otukpo, Benue State, where residents received food items, household essentials, and other support materials.
During the outreach, the organisation distributed various food items, including bags of rice, noodles, cassava flour, corn and other essential provisions, alongside household goods aimed at easing economic hardship and spreading festive cheer among beneficiaries. In addition, motorcycles were donated to support mobility and livelihoods in some communities reached by the foundation.
Speaking at the Otukpo event, the President of the Mercy Love Network, Mrs. Mercy Amatemeso, who also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mercy Divine Properties Limited, urged residents to remain peaceful, law-abiding and steadfast in prayer for the nation’s progress.
“As we share these gifts, we encourage everyone to continue praying for Nigeria and to remain peaceful and law-abiding,” she said.
The Otukpo outreach formed part of a wider humanitarian drive that reached other communities across Idoma land, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to grassroots support and community development.
The Mercy Love Network has previously carried out similar outreach programmes in Port Harcourt and other locations across the country and is also actively involved in scholarship schemes and initiatives supporting vulnerable groups.
Residents and community members in Otukpo and neighbouring areas expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as timely, impactful and reflective of genuine concern for the welfare of the people.
The Mercy Love Network operates as the charitable arm of Mercy Divine Properties Limited, a real estate firm with offices in Port Harcourt and Abuja and housing estates located across different parts of Nigeria.
