A young woman named Mika Shabasova, aged 22, has tragically passed away after undergoing buttock enlargement surgery by an unqualified beautician in Russia. According to reports from Daily Mail on Friday, Mika died within ten minutes of being given anaesthetic by the beautician, who is now identified as Uma M.
The incident occurred during a ‘home surgery’ conducted by Uma M, who reportedly had no license for cosmetic surgery. Despite lacking proper qualifications, she offered the buttock enlargement procedure to Mika for £154 after attending a two-week course in cosmetic procedures. Uma M had also been performing lip, cheek, and butt enlargements without appropriate authorization.
Upon questioning by state investigators in Makhachkala, Uma M revealed that she had repeatedly anaesthetized the victim’s skin with lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, and inquired about any allergies Mika might have had. Tragically, Mika passed away on the spot after the administration of the anaesthetic.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation by the Russian authorities, with the police probing the sudden death of the young woman during the surgery performed by her so-called ‘friend’ and unqualified beautician.
Mika’s friend, who was aware of her intentions to undergo the buttocks procedure, revealed that he had advised her against it. He highlighted that the beautician had recently obtained a cosmetic procedures certificate after completing a two-week course, having previously worked as a waitress and offering lash extensions
