Following the news making the rounds on social media that former Permanent Secretary of the ministry of Defence and ederstatesman, Chief Dr. Mike Okibe Onoja (CON) is dead, a source close to the APC chieftain has debunked the news describing it as false and malicious attempt by mischief makers.
The statement seen online by IDOMA VOICE said the group did not intend to debate with peddlers of evil prayers and conveyors of wicked intentions but to simply clarify that the Akanaba K’Idoma, Chief Mike Onoja is alive and hale and hearty.
The statement partly read: ”We woke up this morning to the wickedness of evil doers peddling fake news – the demise of Chief Dr. Mike Okibe Onoja CON, The Agama Y’ Agila and The Akanaba K’Idoma.
“To the glory of God, Chief Dr. Mike Okibe is alive and bouncing in good health and it is our prayer that the Lord God who has seen him through from conception till date continue to uphold him in good health and grant him many more years of trans- generational impactful life to His glory.
“To you, peddlers of this evil intention, note that death is inevitable and a debt to be paid by all living however, be guided not to invoke death upon yourself while I advise that you seek forgiveness of the Lord and turn a new leave hence, you bring death to yourself.
“As has been our culture, we will continue to seek the face of the Lord and pray that He cause His face to shine upon us, grant us good health and prosperity, enshrine peace in us and cause peace to reign in the land, protect and bless humanity.”
